Season 10 Wind Down
Season 10 Comes to a close..
An impressive Season 10 came to a close this weekend with 7 teams battling to say up in the BPL and West Brom,Palace,Derby and Newcatsle fighting for top four finishes. In the end it was West Brom who lost out on top four after losing there final game of the season away at the Liberty against Swansea. Oliver and his men still find themselves in the Supercup next season after an impressive start this season, But Surely they must be kicking themselves after dropping points on the final weekend.
Its Westham,Brighton and Spurs who have dropped down in to the championship after a poor season from all three teams. Seven teams including Forest, Fulham, Hull, Wigan, Westham ,Spurs and Brighton could have gone down this weekend. All of these teams waiting on the edge of their seats whilst waiting for the final league table to be published.
Liverpool surprised me big-time this season with a fairly high finish! Honestly with the minute amount of squad depth they have I expected them to be fighting to stay up, but no they proved me wrong! So Well played lads! Adler stole the show for Liverpool this season and has certainly made a name for himself. Surely big teams will come swooping in for him n the next window.. But Who Knows?
Surely finishing on 9pts and 16losses must be a cause for concern? Is it managerial problems or is it the players fault? The new named "Jackyman" has serious work to do if he wants to revive Rotherham next season. They have found themselves a quality goalkeeper in "Simple Gotze" he is a quality keeper and has brilliant reflexes! Wit a good back four in front of him Rotherham are ensured to keep endless clean sheets. I believe that FsZ Sanchez 7 leads the attack for Rotherham all by himself and does quite a good job of it. If Rotherham can invest in a quality creative midfielder they are bound to score many goals.
Johnstone Paint Trophy - 16/7/14 - 20:00 KO
The Johnstone Paint Trophy is will be played on Wednesday with reading going in as favourites. Picking up 10 of there 19pts this season in the last four games Reading a fuelled with Confidence throughout. With a strong-defence of Randolph, Di Maria , Beasley and Nasp Phantom who have formed a bond as a quality back four other the last couple of weeks. Daro the pacey right-back can often be caught out of place quite often so it will be interesting to see if he is selected for the final. Reading certainly pose a threat when on the counter attack with Marshall ,Dante, Fazza, Borini and McLaren there are most certainly plenty of goals.
West Ham on the other hand are facing an uphill battle ahead of the final. After recently being relegated from the BPL. Many of there players are playing on a low morale and the new manager Donkinho has a big job on his hands if he is going to win the JP Trophy against a well structured Reading side who are sure to make it as hard as possible for West Ham to get a result. Simply Neymar & Simply Suarez are dangerous partnership leading the attack for West Ham and are definitely going to be a test for the back four of Reading.
Be sure to watch the stream with will be starting at around 19:30 on Wednesday!

BPL: Predictions by (Gringo)
VFL Arsenal: Predicted Finish 11th-15th
Key Player: Unholy Eternal
Reason: This Arsenal team is brand spanking new, with glimpses of experience with players like Eternal and
Bonkee. However, the same very lack of experience within the squad may and probably will harm their dream
of a top 4 finish. Success will be down to players like Eternal, who seem organized enough to get this team
into shape over the course of the season. Best of luck!
VFL Blackpool: Predicted Finish 11th-15th
Key Player: Multiple
Reason: The Championship winners definitely have class players like Cannavaro and Ramos,
and have done a great job in keeping the squad together since last season,
but what about their Goalkeeper issues? Sure they have Bruce, but is that enough to really make a storm
for the BPL title? Not yet. The potential is 100% there, and is very real, but this season,
mediocrity is where I seem them, but watch out, they'll surprise a few!
VFL Bournemouth: Predicted Finish 11th-15th
Key Player: TF Newman l 7 l
Reason: Newman, who is entering his 4th season of VFL takes forward Bournemouth, a team that were almost
relegated last season, but is there any difference this time around? I believe so. With loyal players
such as Isco, Wez and others, Bournemouth may not return to their old bracket of Supercup winners,
but at the same time, they wont be relegation candidates. On top of this, with Newman finding his feet late
last season, a good and quick start will see Bournemouth fly up the table into safety.
VFL Brighton and Hove Albion: Predicted Finish 1st-5th
Key Player: Multiple
Reason: After cleaning up their squad and ridding it of assholes, Brighton look stronger than ever
and may well possess one of the best defensive lines in the division. Players like Laporte bring a wealth of
11s experience, where as players like Lattuca and Varane bring monumental VFL experience.
Definitely a team to watch out for over the season if they can limit the arguments!
VFL Burnley: Predicted Finish 6th-10th
Key Player: Multiple
Reason: Jackzeh returns to the BPL after guiding a limited Burnley team up from the Championship.
With heavyweights like Makelele, Zidane, Shevchenko and Aris, it's hard to see these guys outside the top 10
due to their awesome ability. However, their only downfall for me will be their numbers.
Although they are in the BPL division, they are still very much relaxed, will that haunt them this season?
VFL Chelsea: Predicted Finish 1st-5th
Key Player: Multiple
Reason: With Stephanos back at the helm and reviving Chelsea, it's only a matter of time before they break
back into that Supercup bracket, and for me, its as early as this season. Players like Gattuso, Ares and
Thuram bring so much experience to the team that it really is hard to rule them out of the Supercup race.
Although the BPL is out of reach for them this season for me, be ready to see the Chelsea of Season 8 and
not Season 9.
VFL Crystal Palace: Predicted Finish 6th-10th
Key Player: Multiple
Reason: Although Palace are still on a high from last seasons 3rd spot finish, chemistry and arguments block
their path of reproducing that this season. Key players in key areas will have to overcome their differences,
ditch their egos and do what's best for the team in order for Palace to be successful once more.
Best of luck though!
VFL Derby County: Predicted Finish 1st-5th
Key Player: Multiple
Reason: Sam had a rough off-season to say the least, he almost folded the team and came to blows with many
of his Season 9 starting XI. However, he bounced back, bringing in recruits with bags and bags of 11s
experience. It's a surprise many people think this team wont do well, as I believe it will go far,
and will be a challenging team for the BPL trophy this season easily! Can they topple the Everton dominance?
Who knows! Best of luck.
VFL Everton: Predicted Finish 1st-5th
Key Player: Multiple
Reason: What can I really say about this team? Next to Millwall/Leeds they are one of the most dominant
and all-rounded teams VFL has ever seen. They read play perfectly, have great chemistry and have a BPL title
under their belt. Can they re-produce their Season 9 title win? I think so.
VFL Fulham: Predicted Finish 16th-20th
Key Player: FC XxTrIcKsHoTz
Reason: Fulham and Trickshotz had a rough pre-season. If losing some top players wasn't enough,
settling the debt of old manager CF Suarez cost them their top players, hence my prediction. However,
I do believe the man to pull them away and out of danger is Trickshotz. Since signing from City,
he's shown a level of maturity and commitment to Fulham that has been lost for the past 2 seasons.
If previous managers could keep them up, so can he. Good luck!
VFL Hull City: Predicted Finish 11th-15th
Key Player: Luiz l 4
Reason: Hull had an average season last season, and really had the chance to build on it this time round.
Titan HAS made some good signings in Luiz who will stop the goal leak that occurred last season,
as well as Donkinho who looks set to be a creative maestro in the BPL. However, the quality of squads around
them could hinder them (I may be wrong of course), but looking through squad lists, I can see high charge
for mid-table, that charge being led by Hull as bigger and brighter talents look to occupy the top 10.
Sorry lads.
VFL Liverpool Predicted Finish 16th-20th
Key Player: Adler l 15
Reason: Liverpool had a rocky time last season, and I may see it continuing due to a concern of numbers.
Favourites Danny and Insigne return, along with GK Adler, who will hope to play all 19 games this season.
That's the hope for the Merseysiders, that Adler and make EVERY game due to summer break, as when he plays,
the team looks absolutely unbeatable! However, due to the squad size only being 10, will they be able to
produce numbers every week? Who knows, but as stated, if Adler can make games, they'll easily stay up for me.
VFL Millwall: Predicted Finish 16-20th
Key Player: Undefined Class
Reason: Although Millwall won the double last season, I can see a very different season for them
this time round. A new team takes over the legacy of the club, and that's a real handicap due to the
pressure that surrounds them. A manager change has already happened with Z8TYY failing to cope with the
demands of management, so new and fresh manager Young l 111 l will aim to keep his team up by any means
needed. The key player here is easily Class, bags of experience, great ability and can carry a team
if needed, and boy oh boy do Millwall need it unless they find another hero. Best of luck!
VFL Newcastle: Predicted Finish 6th-10th
Key Player: x Skyppez
Reason: Newcastle ended the campaign on a high winning the play-offs and enter the BPL season with the same
squad they dominated the Championship with last season. Players like Ben, Skypez and Pogba will all be
itching to prove their BPL status, and because of that grit and determination, I can see them sailing
comfortably this season with a push towards the Europa Cup qualification spots. Definitely a team to look
out for and be afraid of!
VFL Nottingham: Predicted Finish 1st-5th
Key Player: l Kluivert 9 l
Reason: It's safe to say that Browny has done a great job taking over Forest last season and securing
a mid table finish. Now, Season 10 is here, he's re-strengthened his team with big names like Salah,
Limbo and Suarez, and it seems that Forest may be the wildcard to make a push for the Supercup spots,
and to do that, players with BPL winning experience like Kluivert will have to create momentum within the
team to push on and play their hardest. A team to watch no doubt.
VFL Swansea City: Predicted Finish 6th-10th
Key Player: Joker l 1 l
Reason: Again, this one was hard for me. Big names like Draxler, Joker and Novice have all entered Swansea
with the ambition of going all the way, and Joker will be an instrumental part of that as Swansea's last
line of defense. If he can play to his peak, he can to Swansea, what Adler is to Liverpool, unplayable!
Again, a team that will upset quite a few without a doubt, watch for these guys in the Europa Cup spots!
VFL Tottenham Hotspur: Predicted Finish 11th-15th
Key Player: l Joshy l 1 l
Reason: Shimz takes charge of his first VFL team, and I can wish the guy nothing but luck as he's a pleasure
to talk to, however, I see medocrity in his debut season. Losing players of the quality like ProEamzy and
RecklessMatten will hurt Spurs, where will the creativity come from? Will they score as many as last season?
It's an enigma. However, probably one of the signings of the season is Joshy, it seems funny to think he was
once at Villa, but my word this kid has turned into a great GK in the BPL division, and will bring a lot of
motivation and experience from what he learnt last season at Derby. Do not underestimate these guys.
VFL W.B.A: Predicted Finish 16th-20th
Key Player: Oliver l 9 l
Reason: West Brom are a bit of mystery team for me, some days, I rank them in the top 10, others
(after signings they made), not so much. One things for sure is that Oliver will be the main guy there
this season, not only as a manager but a forward. He's going to need to pick his team up and motivate them
after losses, as well as lead the scoring after they released highly rated alexw earlier yesterday.
Also, with players away for the first 10 games, its really a damage control operation. For now, they are
where they are, but it can change so quickly!
VFL West Ham: Predicted Finish 16th-20th
Key Player: progreen87
Reason: Ah West Ham, I feel about them, what I felt about Wigan in real life when they were in the BPL,
every season I hope they stay up and they satisfy me, but it could it change due to a manager swap?
West Ham have a prolific goalscorer and prolific GK in progreen and Joey, but will that be enough to secure
BPL football for another season? It seems not for players like Gabbertech and Cairns who seemed to jump ship
during the off-season. Did they make the right choice?
VFL Wigan Athletic: Predicted Finish 6th-10th
Key Player: l 1 l De Gea l
Reason: This was another tough one, easily have the potential to be in the Supercup brackets and may well
clip by wildcard Forest to it, but their squad this time round looks exceptionally rounded, especially with
the return of Kyle, who will give De Gea good competition between the sticks. Not really much more to say on
these guys if I'm honest, but yeah, a real contender for the top 5, and if not, easily in the Europa Cup spots.
VFL Arsenal: Predicted Finish 11th-15th
Key Player: Unholy Eternal
Reason: This Arsenal team is brand spanking new, with glimpses of experience with players like Eternal and
Bonkee. However, the same very lack of experience within the squad may and probably will harm their dream

where they are, but it can change so quickly!
Championship: Predictions by (Makelele)
VFL Aston Villa: Predicted Finish 17th-20th
Key Player: AV BigRedBen88
Reason: Aston Villa, A team now that finished 12th last season, I think it will be a little different
this time out. I just don’t feel that they have the defence or goalkeeper to be able to keep out
some of the more free scoring teams. In the past couple of seasons they have had a top keeper behind them
and with what I can tell they are lacking one this time out, pressure will fall on the strikers to try and bail
out the defence. The manager BigRedBen played in multiple positions last season showing vast versatility and I
am sure will fill in where he feels his team need him to.
VFL Blackburn Rovers: Predicted Finish 17th-20th
Key Player: XI M34TH00K IX
Reason: A lot of the teams in this division have had wholesale changes in the close season,
Blackburn is one of them. XI M34TH00K IX having his first full season in charge after taking over the previous
manager after a poor run of form and a points deduction. The manager is going to have to take his experience
and ability and try and generate a good run of form at the start of the season, predominantly a winger he will
be hoping to put some OP crosses in to his strikers after beating his man on the wing.
VFL Bolton Wanderers: Predicted Finish 7th-11th
Key Player: Lehmann l 13 l
Reason: An extremely disappointing last weekend of 3 points out of 15 left Bolton just missing out
on the play-offs, losing a playmaker like Zidane and not having a top class striker means the defence and
goalkeeper are going to be vital. With countless goalkeeping problems last season, the manager Lucas
will be extremely happy with the signing on England goalkeeper Lehmann, hopefully he will give a lot more
stability to the back line and chalk up some more clean sheets for his team.
VFL Brentford FC: Predicted Finish 7th-11th
Key Player: Deeney l 9 l
Reason: Looking down the Brentford roster they are a side that have talent everywhere and are players that could
cause any team that they are playing trouble. I think that they will be pushing the teams in the play-offs all
the way and may even take a spot for themselves. Deeney l 9 l will want his team to put in good performances
and show the league what Brentford are about, I guess looking at his gamertag that he will be leading from the
front and will be the man who can motivate his team on and off the pitch.
VFL Cardiff City: Predicted Finish 7th-11th
Key Player: BT Ronaldo 7
Reason: Cardiff, I tipped them to have a fine season and they didn’t really live up to it. A disappointing
10th place finish. They look to have gotten rid of all the deadwood and are hoping for a Burnley-esque season,
even bringing in some of the infamous S7 Swansea team, but will they stay the whole season? BT Ronaldo though,
A player who seemed to have more luck in front of net in the BPL than the Championship, but there is no doubt
that he will be raring to go and score goals to help his team look for promotion this time out.
VFL Charlton Athletic: Predicted Finish 7th-11th
Key Player: o TsL Tactics o
Reason: One of the sides relegated last season, but a new manager in Fin who will be searching to get his return
to management up and running with a great season, a solid squad who will be aiming for a good finish. Tactics,
who had a good season at Blackburn is someone that can play a variety of roles at the top end of the pitch and
wherever he does play he is someone who can cause defences all kinds of problems with his ball retention and
eye for goal, he has goals in him, can Charlton get him the ball so he can score?
VFL Leeds: Predicted Finish Automatic Promotion
Key Player: Multiple
Reason: Well, what more can be said they are the favourites for the title without even kicking a ball,
the old Millwall. This time led by Dragonfistz, some old faces gone either through bans or wanting to watch
the World Cup. Even though they have lost a couple of players they should be able to breeze through this division.
Goalscorers, aided by a brilliant defensive lines they are one of the most complete teams in the league.
Most BPL teams will fear getting these in any cup competition.
VFL Leicester City: Predicted Finish Automatic Promotion
Key Player: Freerocker506
Reason: I feel this season Leicester will be a force, very disappointed by their relegation to the Championship
last time out even though this team was taken over by x H o d g I e with them rock bottom, and very nearly getting
out of the relegation zone. A solid team from back to front. In terms of individual players I feel Freerocker506
can be pivotal for the foxes, in recent seasons the defending in this league has been dreadful and if Freerocker
can put in performances that we saw at Forest then he could well be on his way to another Team of the season.
VFL Manchester City: Predicted Finish 17th-20th
Key Player: Lawzah xo
Reason: Man City, rock bottom of the league last season. With other sides around them strengthening and looking
down their roster I don’t see much change, which could lead them to another disappointing season. The manager
Lawzah is going to be key he is the striker and will be wanting to score as many goals as possible to turn some
of the 6 draws his side got into wins.
VFL Manchester United: Predicted Finish Play-offs
Key Player: ShlkArl MaDnEesS
Reason: United are a completely reformed team, Blayny taking over the management job and are a team that need to
be watched closely. Quiet on the forums they may be but on the pitch I am sure that will be different. £8.2m was
the price and Blayny got his man ShlkArl MaDnEesS, impressive in his Reading days, Blayny will be hoping that he
extends his form and can push United where they expect to be, right at the top of the table.
VFL Norwich City: Predicted Finish Play-offs
Key Player: x Gotze l 10 l
Reason: Norwich surprised most when they secured a play-off place in the final day of last season especially
after the previous manager left Gotze with no money and a squad that had finished rock bottom in 2 consecutive
seasons. Gotze may not be the manager anymore but he will more than likely be the driving force behind the team,
he had a great season and I am sure he will be ready to do it again. They have a squad that from back to front
looks solid and will be hoping to carry on the great form, and I fully expect they can.
VFL Queen Park Rangers: Predicted Finish Play-offs
Key Player: AzP l Neuer
Reason: Last season we were hearing a lot from QPR that they were “building for next season” and it really looks
like they have, albeit a smallish squad they have reliable players who could push for places in any team.
36 goals conceded last term, Neuer is going to have to change that if QPR are going to have any chance of
finishing where they want to, a former TOTS goalkeeper, Balon D’or nominated, all the credentials of a great
player, if he plays well QPR will have a lot happier season.
VFL Reading FC: Predicted Finish 12th-16th
Key Player: Di Maria l 22
Reason: Well play-off finalists last time out but in my opinion a poor transfer window will leave Reading
treading water in mid table. The sales of Mase and Madness, without any replacements in two key positions,
GK and ST. Randolph and Steve will have to be on form to keep out the other teams. A lot of pressure will fall
on the CAM, Di Maria, without the goals of Mase he will have to have near perfect games to score more and
set others up to win games.
VFL Rotherham United: Predicted Finish 7th-11th
Key Player: R6 Flux
Reason: Rotherham, one of the new teams in the league, and one of the quietest. Pluisipplui a strange name from
the German but he will be wanted to kick off his managerial rein with some points on the board and some success.
R6 Flux a player that has tons of experience and is someone who knows what he is doing and will be a driving
force in the Rotherham ranks. The play-off spots are going to be very tight just like last season,
a good start could give any team all the confidence to push them on to the BPL.
VFL Sheffield Wednesday: Predicted Finish 12th-16th
Key Player: Honestly, no clue …
Reason: This team, well I have them down here mainly because I have no clue about them, the previous manager
got himself banned and now Kaboul has come in. They have a good squad, but no real indication from Kaboul whether
he is keeping them or releasing them, without any more information I can’t give a proper assessment.
They have top players but how many of them will be playing?
VFL Southampton: Predicted Finish Play-offs
Key Player: I M Neuer I 1 I
Reason: I predict Southampton will have a good season this time round they have added to their squad well
and I think they have a strong base and structure to their team. I have said a lot that defending and
goalkeeping seems to be lost in the Championship but this season with strong defender and goalkeepers coming down
it will change. None least is Neuer, he may be young and his sigs may not be the best, but he is one of the best
GK’s in VFL. I have had the pleasure of playing alongside him and I know with adequate protection he will keep
countless clean sheets and aid Southampton’s play-off charge.
VFL Stoke city: Predicted Finish 12th-16th
Key Player: ZA Xavi 6
Reason: Stoke have had a lot of manager changes in the past season, now onto their 3rd, Xavi. Finished a respectable
9th last season, but with more teams added and some very strong teams coming down from the premier league,
I think they may drop. One man who will not want that to happen is the manager Xavi, He will be the main man
I think for Stoke the season the ball coming into him and then him offloading it, chipping in with goals.
All in all I think it will be a struggle but this is FIFA anything can happen.
VFL Sunderland: Predicted Finish 12th-16th
Key Player: Simple Robben
Reason: They have not had the best off season, 1 manager got ousted, and then a massive bust up with certain players,
these players may have gone now but how happy is the whole squad? Robben is going to lead by example and get off to
the best possible start, I haven’t seen much of the “Simple” since they have arrived so they will be itching to have
a point to prove to the league. I think if the manager can keep the squad together they can have a good season and
finish but if not they could be looking at the bottom of the table instead of where they are striving to be.
VFL Watford FC: Predicted Finish 17th-20th
Key Player: JaaaamesF
Reason: Well Watford, scored 30 goals last season, only 4 teams scored more but they conceded 37, most teams will
know that without a proper defence you aren’t going to winning any games. That being said JaaamesF is a player that
is pivotal to Watford success, most assists in the league last term with 10 and also chipped in with 7, so if the
defence is the same James is going to have to have another great season to get his side away from the bottom.
VFL Wolverhampton Wanderers: Predicted Finish 12th-16th
Key Player: NsR x ORiGiNAL
Reason: Of all of the new teams, Wolves is a team that I know the least about, I can only really go off what I know
so I am putting Wolves in to this category, they could well surprise me and finish a lot higher. NsR Orginal
the former Leeds man is someone that a lot of teams need to look out for, he is a CAM that has an eye for a pass as
well as the ability to get a goal. He could be a very vital figure for Wolves this season.
VFL Aston Villa: Predicted Finish 17th-20th
Key Player: AV BigRedBen88
Reason: Aston Villa, A team now that finished 12th last season, I think it will be a little different

Sit Down Interview with VFL R.O.T.W Manager, theekiwi!
What do you think of your teams chances in VFL International Tournament?
- Well, there are three other international teams each boasting a very strong set of applicants or selected team players. It is very much the same situation with the VFL Rest of the World. Surprisingly, the Rest of the World had a strong 60+ odd applicants- very unexpected. Which left me in a position of having to try and ensure that almost everyone that applied had their chance to shine. This has been hard alongside my exams, but I finally will have my 23 man team for the tournament by Wednesday night.
Anyway, back to the question: The players that I have picked have been picked for a reason. As you personally would know Corbin, I'm very specific when it comes to the way I want the team to play, and if that is reflected when the Rest of the World play in the upcoming tournament, enabling the team to play in symphony, we will have the cup for the taking.
What other International team do you think has a good chance of challenging for the Cup alongside the Rest of the World?
- I have said above that the applicants or selected team members for the respective international teams are looking very strong indeed but they won't necessarily show that when it comes to the games. If the managers can bring out the best of each player then each international team will be a challenge, but it is a hard job achieving a team working in unison, especially for the less experienced managers. I feel like I cracked it in Season 7 at Tottenham Hotspur before I retired for 2 seasons due to exams. I know what I'm looking for and I know which way to push the players to get the best out of them- only time will tell though!
As I said though, I would like to think each team will be a challenge to the Rest of the World, but it is too early to tell at this stage.
Is there any players who stand out or have surprised you in the trialling stage?
- I'm not really sure to be honest. I knew what to expect from a lot of players although a few did surprise me. Those who played the type of football I want to play consistently gained a spot in the team.
Who do you think your key player(s) will be in this tournament?
- Definitely theeKiwi. Unfortunately not. I prefer to sit back and pass the ball forever. Each player will play there part for the team, I can't single out a certain player among the team.
In Season 7, you were the Manager of Tottenham Hotspur. Will you bring some of your tactics from your Season 7 Managership over to the Rest of the World?
- If I told you that, I'd be giving my secrets away to you. All I'm going to say is that I have my ways of going about this, in ways it's different, in others it's similar due to context.
You had a good time at Tottenham Hotspur in Season 7 winning the Pre-Season Cup and achieving a club record of 5th in the league in your first season in charge. Looking back on it, is there anything you would have done differently?
-Gotten rid of eggrush earlier. Sorry egg. Dealing with Kilby better, despite being perhaps the fairest of all managers. I loved the Tottenham Hotspur days. I really miss it and I'd give anything to return to management at Spurs. I felt at the time we could have achieved so much more, however no matter how fair I tried to be to everyone in the team, it just wasn't enough for some of them, leading to a few people becoming unhappy and affecting the way we played. I was disappointed that we had the potential to achieve so much more but yet we didn't. Saying that, if I had another chance, I would do some things differently, one definitely being winning the Premier League and Supercup!
Lastly, will we be seeing you return to League Management in the League anytime in the near future?
- Sooner than later, that is for sure. I missed it. With my exams ending on Friday I have all this time on my hands. I'd love to go back to Tottenham and manage once again (hint, hint) but you gave it away Corbin. I'm currently 11th in the Manager Application list, so I'm just waiting for my next chance!
Thank you for the interview and I will see you on the pitch Corbin!
I would like to thank Kiwi for taking time out of his studies to partake in this interview for VFL. I hope you all enjoyed this interview as there is more to come! If you have any ideas to make the news better or what you would like to see, just message me on VFL-One.com or on Xbox One.

VFL International!
Announced late last week was the VFL International, where 4 teams being VFL England, Wales, Scotland and the Rest of The World compete for the VFL Nations Cup! As you might have all seen, these teams are holding trials at moment and are trying to get the best squad they can for the tournament, Will you make the cut?
In charge of these decisions are the four managers.
VFL England - NxT Cannavaro
England probably have biggest amount of names to pick form, so many people tip them as the favourites. Cannavaro has got some big names helping pick his team, them being EHM jackzeh and l Mekelele l 4. Both of these have a lot of seasons behind them so they know what they are doing. will these three make a England team witch is unstoppable?
VFL Wales - AuD l Szczesny
Not much is known about Wales yet as they have been very quiet but they have some big players like AzP l Neuer in there ranks. Will they rely on these big players to give them a chance or do they have something under there sleeve?
VFL Scotland - iTz McKelvie XD
If anyone can get the best out of his players it is mckelvie. he has a lot of management experience so i can see some players making a name for their self in this team under his management. He will push his players to a new level so I would watch out for this team as they have the potential to go all the way!
VFL Rest of the world - theekiwi
He has been out of the vfl picture for a while due to school work but now he's back and wants to make a impact! The ex-Tottenham manager who guided them to a record 5th in the league has a very picky mindset on the style of football he plays. He's not scared to not pick a big name player, and choose an unheard of player over them. I give these a good shot in winning this tournament. What about you?
With the tournament starting in only few day time will you be able to push your way into one these teams? Will you make a name for your self? & who will win?

"Jackzeh Mourinho......"
Earlier this week I (Fazza) spoke to VFL Burnley manager Jackzeh. We spoke about Management, transfers and players. Please carry on reading to find the full story!
1) Firstly! Congrats on Promotion to the BPL!! How do you think your team peformed this season?
= think they performed at the level they knew they had to perform at. I have a certain expectation of my players these days and if they don't perform at a high enough standard then they don't deserve to be a Jackzeh Mourinho player.
2) Are there any players in VFL that caught your eye this season?
= Yes, of course, you know as a championship team you don't always get to see the quality of the premier league every week, but for me that "Jordan?" from Derby has had a fantastic season.
3) Moving into the BPL are you looking to add to the squad? If so in which areas?
= A centre back and a CAM, which has already been completed. I've brought in both Hierro and Zidane , they're 2 players I know very well and they're both good friends so they add to the theory at Burnley I'm trying to establish that you don't have to take the league to serious you know, if you play with your friends in a chilled out environment then it's very easy and you still win games.
4) Who has been your key player for VFL Burnley this season?
= Everyone, I don't like to single out anyone as for me with such a small squad everyone is key to what the offer to the team and what I expect of them when playing.
5) With quite a small budget(£7.9m) at the start of season 10 surely you will have to sell if you want increase this amount? Is this an option for you or are you totally happy with the squad you have?
= We don't even have that much money, we're broke. I think when the Hierro deal goes through we're a little short of 3million. There is no need to sell, if anyone knows my players as well as I do then you'd know how good of a FIFA player they all are and that even with they're value doubled they are worth so much more but I'm looking to keep the squad as small as possible.
6) Has there been a time where you have felt under pressure this season? If so when?
= Yes, when I ordered a Dominos' and just moments before kick off I had to make the tough decision of whether to let it go cold or to devour it just moments before kick-off. No but seriously, pressure for me is non-sense, I never feel pressure. One thing I always try to drill into my players heads since I was Everton manager is to forget the opposition and take every game at a time, too many teams underestimate other teams and get beat. There was a bit of pressure for the Blackpool game that we had where it was in our hands to win or lose the title, I think they were feeling a lot more pressure which made me personally more relaxed and with a bit of luck they won the game but it was fair and they won the league which I would like to congratulate them for.
7) Opinion on Get x Hyperzz?
= Who? No I'm kidding, I know who he is only really due to the connection with the Bolton lads. I've never had a problem with him but looking around the forums he tends to get into arguments and just digs a bigger hole for himself. He wants to be the best fullback in the league, if he cut out the arrogance and shit talk then I think people would start noticing him more as a good player rather then a mole.
8.) What will your role be for next season for VFL England
= I like to see myself as the "captain" figure of the squad. Cannavaro is the manager, he makes all the big decisions, he decides who gets the call up. I'm just there to help out tactically, use my lungs in the middle of the park and give my opinions on players, just to help tridders out.

Interview with VFL Veteran, aFaTsLuG
So after a long skype call with the one and only aFaTsLuG, he spoke to me about his VFL history and the various teams he has been associated with during his long stay in VFL.
Now he asked me to write about his recent teams, which include QPR, Man U and Chelsea. For Man U he didn't really have stuff to say about them. But for chelsea he asked me to post the fact he misses the chelsea boys AzP l Neuer, Stephanos l 7 l and RapidJR The One. He also asked me to state If that team was to enquire about buying him from QPR, if Gx Scholes allowed him to leave he would be most grateful to whoever the manager would've been interested at that time.
So in his many, many seasons here he has acquired himself some honours, now these state as such; 4x TOTS's, 7x TOTW's, The FA Cup, The Supercup and the Community shield. Although awards alone are great to have, he has never won the BPL title in his many tried attempts, although he has been close back in S5 with Palace when they lost the league on Goal Difference to a strong Fulham side. I asked him about this and he said to me these words "I have tried multiple times to win the BPL title and I don't know why I couldn't but hopefully now I have moved to the championship I can achieve great things".
Now before this he said to me he has never played in the Championship before and he looks forward to it. I asked him also about what he meant when he said he can achieve great things my words were this "What are you going to hopefully achieve in the championship?". He went on to say this "I can help take QPR out of the championship and into the BPL, where I want them to challenge! " He clearly has hopes for his time at QPR so I asked him this "So from, what I've seen there your hoping to win the championship so you can bond with your team-mates then win the BPL title If that's correct, that may take a few seasons are you ready for such a big commitment to one single team". His reply "Yes I am I have no intentions of leaving any time soon and I know from here on out It's a uphill battle but I am ready for this".
So from what I've seen here today he is very loyal to one team and he has nothing but determination to go on and win nearly everything that he can possibly win in VFL. Hopefully QPR can come up trumps in the VFL as I know one thing, the calibre of there players, I mean It's a possibility. Because when they want to play their best, their best is untameable, so hopefully with the addition of slug in this team they can go on and win everything they need to win.

Interview with Atlas ll Titan
Me: Hello Atlas Titan, In case no one knows this is Hull City manager
Me: So Atlas do you have any transfer targets this season?
Atlas: Yeah, we have a few targets we're looking at, they'll probably come to light soon.
Me: Is that so, would you like to share who?
Atlas: All I can tell you is that they are CB's and CDM's and possible a stricker
Me: If you would like to share this what is hull's favourite game type e.g crossing LB Y's etc ... Don't worry I am asking everyone this question.
Atlas: This is something I'm proud of, what I'm changing and what I want is for us (and we are doing this well now) to play possession football with a lot of containing
Me: Do you have any major gameplay / team changes this season or is it just minor changes?
Atlas: Yeah I'm going have to lose some players who cant adapt to the new style I'm playing. Also the possession football we'll be doing and just some tactics I guess.
Me: Okay then, Is there any teams you shall we say are worried about playing in this season?
Atlas: See I'd probably only say Everton considering the fact that they were the hardest team we played!
Me: Is there any teams that you think will be a breeze and not struggle against?
Atlas: It's hard to say, as every team is this league will be changing for the better! For example Charlton were less than average at the start of S9 when we played them. After the middle window they had a decent squad so it's hard to say, maybe Liverpool haha.
Me: Where do you think you shall finish this season?
Atlas: I'm thinking top 7
Me: Is there anything you would like to say to any managers / players publicly?
Atlas: I just hope the Hull boys can continue to play with class and win some trophies!
Me: Okay then, thanks for all this time you have given me Atlas one more question before we finish. Except for your own team, who do you think has a chance of winning the BPL this season?
Atlas: If Everton are in the league again probably them or Palace.

"Stephanos - The Waterboy"
VFL News sits down with Collins as he fires back at Stephanos
VFL News sits down with Collins as he fires back at Stephanos
I sat down with the new Chelsea manager last week (Stephanos) and was able to collect his thoughts on ex-manager Collins, as well as his Chelsea tenure. The interview was hard-hitting, controversial, and managed to anger quite a few of the community, that being the majority of the ex-Swansea City team that won Season 7 undefeated.
Well, I managed to get an interview with Collins this week, where once again, he gives his side of events, as well as taking some shots at the current Blues manager.
“Let's just be very clear about the ugly Collins. Stephanos is a guy that tried to attempt to photo shop his way back into the club, begged me to play his 4 games, instead I get him banned. I had no intention of taking over Chelsea but he plays VFL like football manager, how much can I get for him and how much can I get for him. The reason he plays VFL isn't because he's good at FIFA it's because he's seeks money that he doesn't have in real life. Anyone that knows Stephanos knows he's compulsive liar with very little FIFA talent.”
I was amazed at the gold I was getting here, so I let Collins continue and even pressed him about his management, or lack of it, according to Stephanos last week.
“My management? I had a week to get a team in order, we had no issue scoring goals, and we just didn't have a reliable goalkeeper that conceded. You add the fact had we got the win against Liverpool we would of been 5th but due to a technicality we didn't. Let's not forget, S7 with my actual full team with a full preseason to prepare I had one of the best VFL teams ever. We won the league with the highest point total and undefeated. I'll happily admit I was a c**t to him, I'm a lot of things but to put the record straight I don't think I'm the greatest, but one thing I am is straight up and a lot of people don't like that because when they asked me if they’re good and I answer honestly.”
Collin’s seemed determined to land as many blows to Stephanos’s credibility as he could, listing his accomplishments next to Stephanos’s as a sort of middle finger to the Aussie’s comments from last week. However, he was far from done and launches one more verbal assault on the Blues manager.
“The very bottom line is, I have a team that's 6th in the leaderboard with the best non hacked record on the game. Stephanos, how is it losing in division 10? Also with that loyal following and your huge like ability how come you only had 5 players on Friday? I always had 9 and above, so I guess when you took manager they must have been busy washing their hair. Anyone on this site can say whatever they like, what nobody can deny is, the only time me and Stephanos should be on the same pitch is when he's giving me water, because he is my waterboy, nothing more.”
With all this coming out into the community, will Stephanos respond once more? What do the community make of all of this? Be sure to leave your thoughts in the topic!

“The REAL Collins is an ugly one”
VFL News sits down with Stephanos in regards to his aims for VFL Chelsea
VFL News sits down with Stephanos in regards to his aims for VFL Chelsea
With Season 9 50% finished, Chelsea sit 12th, 6 points off of a Supercup spot, but why? What went so wrong with Chelsea during the Collins era? I got the chance to sit down with the experienced Australian manager, Stephanos, and collect his thoughts about the Collins Chelsea tenure.
Stephanos seemed his typical confident and relaxed self when quizzed about his sacking, and his impartial ban which he deemed as part of “one big game” campaigned by Collins himself.
“I felt annoyed to be honest.” Collins stated about his sacking. “I NEVER had a chance as manager, I thought I brought in some of the top talents of VFL, but it all transpired so quickly, and it’s obvious that Collins had a plan from day one.”
I pushed him further, I’ve spoken to Collins before and only seen a positive side from him, but obviously when it’s down to him and his players, a new character comes out?
“It’s true, he’s a child when he doesn’t get his way.” he replied when I quizzed him about Collins. “He manipulated MY players, promising certain players releases due to the fact that they wanted to leave and he didn’t rate them highly, and that annoyed me the most, players that I trusted voted me out.”
When pushed further about Chelsea being the “Titanic” of VFL, after suffering 5 league defeats and only picking up 11 points in 10 games, Stephanos proceeded to poke fun at the loyalty of some former Swansea players.
“Collins is not the only reason for Chelsea failing, the guy had a poor management structure, the real Collins is one ugly guy, people would literally play 4 games to be able to be sold to get away from him, and look at his “team-mates”, Ashcroft, McFc, Scorpion, all retired on him. The truth is, nobody likes him. But Im back now, and I’m ready to recover Chelsea, this titanic disaster, by whipping the life boats out.”
With Stephanos being a manager used to success in domestic competitions such as the FA Cup and the Supercup, this is the first season where he finds himself out of all cup competition, and most likely the league too. The aim for Blues now is to climb and hopefully claim a Supercup spot, if that happens, it would be, and I quote “a miracle”.
The one factor that continued to confuse me during the interview is the purchase of some old players that Stephanos himself once sold, players like Gx Diamanti and Calzuma.
“Ah, the reason for the buys are simple, they are proven, and they are trusted. I have a player like Joe (Diamanti) who is my Lahm type player, he’s key defensively and also awesome in the midfield pocket, on top of that Cal is another player that has a proven record in VFL defensively, and that was a key area for me, I mean look, Chelsea have conceded 16 goals so far, we need to stop that leak and these guys are the solution.”
Whether Chelsea can climb back up to past glorious is yet to be seen, but for me, in my opinion, this season now is all about rebuilding with minimum resources, scaling a basis for something much bigger next season. If one thing is to be certain of, it’s that Stephanos is the man to take Chelsea forward and out of the grey area they’ve found themselves in, but can he do the unthinkable and claim a top 5 spot? If anyone can, it’s more than likely going to be him.
That’s all from me though folks, thanks for reading and best of luck in your games this weekend

Triumphant Start For Everton!
As expected it was Everton who came off on top of the BPL after the first week of games this season! Winning four of their five games this week vs Chelsea(3-2), Hull City (6-3), Arsenal (2-0) and Leicester (5-0)! With a goalless draw against Charlton on the first day of the season.
With DylShkin providing goals( and assists (3) for Everton this weekend and also earning himself a place in the TOTW. Teams in the BPL really need to be careful when coming up against Everton as he is deadly up front.
MOUNTAIN and DiabeticPuma also found themselves a place in the TOTW with fantastic performances from both of them. Mountain kept 3 clean sheets, scored two goals and a MOTM!
Everton are likely favourites to conquer the BPL this season! Good luck to them!!

QPR appoint Gx Scholes as new manager
Today I sat down with Gx Scholes to discuss his new job at QPR. Scholes has just been appointed the new manager of QPR as the season gets underway. This is how it went;
(Me): First, I would just like to know what your previous VFL experience is such as previous clubs, accomplishments and duration.
(Gx): Well Season 8 was my first in VFL I was shown and brought into VFL by Gx Pirlo, last seasons Arsenal Manager. At time I spoke with him about the league he was a Stoke City player and convinced me to join Stoke and see what it was all about. Unknowingly to us that 24hrs later he would be sold to Arsenal and later made Manager. My first weekend at Stoke has remained my best so far in VFL where I managed to score 3 goals and 1 assist in CAM and got into the Team of the week. But after I poor run of results I asked for a transfer half way through the season where I then got the choice to join Arsenal or Man United, being a United fan I went with my heart over my head which ultimately turned out to be the wrong decision when Burkie manager of United got in alot of the ToS clan who swarmed the club leaving no room for me to play so I requested a managers job as I thought I would be a good one and would like the chance to see what its all about. Luckily the end of the season come and where I nearly received the Charlton job but im happy now to be the manager of QPR.
(Me): So Scholes, what happened within United that resulted in you being assigned the new manager?
(Gx): It started back when I was at Stoke City just before I transferred to United, after loss after loss I started to want a changed, when I went to united I was prepared to cancel my managers application if I liked it at united being a fan and all, I would have never wanted to leave but after being benched because of a Clan taking over and being refused a release. When I was given the Managers job I was so relieved because it meant a fresh start and out of United where I'm sure I'd still be warming the bench quietly but now I'm at a different club I plan to be a noisy neighbour and show United what they are missing if we draw them in the Cup!
(Me): What are your hopes/aims for Season Nine?
(Gx): My aims have changed slightly as I previously played for 2 Premier League clubs even if it was only for a season, but now I've taken over a brand new club in the Championship and with the boys ive been given with the likes of Gattuso a VFL veteran, Kluivert and Benatia we are aiming high. with the club i'd like to go on a cup run and atleast reach the final, and im confident we are good enough to atleast reach the play offs and from then onwards you need just as much luck as you do skill to win the remaining games and get promoted to the Premier League!
(Me): What changes are you planning to make within QPR, and are you planning on making any transfer moves?
(Gx): The season has now started and so it is hard to make any real changes but my first real job of Manager was to convince Benatia to stay at the club as I noticed even after playing with him for a few days he would be an important player if I am to help get QPR into the Play offs or better. Luckily my instinct to realise a good player when I see one payed off when we played Cardiff our Keeper informed us he wouldn't be able to make the game, but Benatia volunteered to go in goal to which he made some crucial saves including keeping out a penalty against Cardiff, who are predicted Automatic promotion but we showed we mean business when we managed a 0-0 draw and ultimately deserved all 3 points, even with our adapted and weakened side! But so far I have released 3 players who either didnt want to play or thought they were not good enough to help us progress throughout the season and brought 3 great talents in FlowZone the keeper, Bigzsy the Attacking midfielder who also can play a defensive role that he is doing at the moment in CDM and also Thish Wick our new Right Midfielder, one of the best I have seen in his position and definitely one to watch I think we may have found a diamond in the rough, luckily it was him who approached me about a trial at QPR and he chose us over Wigan and Newcastle.
(Me): Are you confident that you will be a good manager and what thoughts do you have on how you are going to manage QPR?
(Gx): I personally think I will be a good manager or else I wouldnt of applied for the job, you see some people that apply for the heck of it but I honestly believe I will be a successful manager at QPR and will have them in the Premier League within the next 2 seasons atleast! I plan to be a laid back type of manager, I dont want to put my players under nor feel like they are under any amount of pressure when playing as it makes it harder for some to play their best, I am an honest person and will tell my players what I think whether it be motivation and incouragement or constructive criticism. But at no point will I speak down to my players I want them all to feel comfortable around me and others and no tension or nervousness between us all. The only thing I request is respect to me the club and other players, and just to have fun and try their best the rest is just a bonus.
(Me): Finally, just as a little added extra; do you think you will be more of a Sir Alex Ferguson or a David Moyes at VFL QPR?
(Gx): Being a United fan i'd definitely prefer to say I want to be more as Sir Alex was at United but 26 years or in this case seasons is a long time, but I dont expect or want to be fired in 3/4 of a season either haha, who knows maybe im neither Sir Alex or David Moyes, I'm John Bennett the first of my kind.
It is clear that Scholes is confident and is happy with his current team. I personally think Scholes will be a brilliant manager. Good luck to you mate.
I also just want to say sorry for the length of this article but I wanted to cover the full story. Thank you.

VFL Season 9 BPL Predictions
- Predictions from BPL Admins Gringo and Messiah
- Predictions from BPL Admins Gringo and Messiah
Arsenal - Position - 11th-15th
Key Player - Gx Diamanti
Reasoning - Arsenal did well to win the Capital One Cup last season and secured one of the key players that made that possible, Gx Diamanti. However, failure to bring in RapidJr the one into Arsenal due to a double transfer leave questions over Arsenal's main goal threat and creative talent. They'll have a decent season as Matic looks set to re-build Arsenal over the next couple of seasons

Bournemouth AFC - Position - 1st-5th
Key Player - Multiple
Reasoning - Newman and his staff had an excellent transfer window to say the least, bringing in highly rated Goalkeeper Calamardo, as well as the highly experienced ex-Hull player, FIN98CFC. Free Agency picks like Mellberg and Braddz have also been a steal, and due to all the top quality players, it would be a crime if Bournemouth failed to finish in that top 5 bracket.

Brighton and Hove Albion - Position - 1st-5th
Key Player - XpL Pepe
Reasoning - Brighton are another team that have recruited well and look set to build upon their decent finish last season in their debut. Top rated players like Pepe will iron out any defensive creases, whilst experience from the likes of Vidal and Neuer are sure to be an aid. Again, another team that should slot nicely into that top 5 bracket to say the least.

Charlton Athletic - Position - 16th-20th
Key Player - aG Messi l 10 l
Reasoning - The old VFL Cardiff boys are back and in charge of VFL Charlton this time round, but do they have the resources to compete? With the growing list of talent to the VFL BPL, Charlton are going to have to up their game and up their numbers if they wish to improve from past experiences at Cardiff. However, players like Lukas, Messi and Scopez all possess the relevant quality to help Charlton seal themselves in the VFL BPL for at least another season.

Chelsea - Position - 1st-5th
Key Player - Ace Scorpion
Reasoning - With the old VFL Swansea team inhabiting Chelsea, we can only hold high expectations. The team retains its core of Ace, Collins, Ashcroft and more that experienced an undefeated season in season 7, and for that reason of "Being there and doing it", they should be a real title contender and easily finish in the top 5 this season.

Crystal Palace - Position - 6th-10th
Key Player - Multiple
Reasoning - Although Palace have recruited well, this is their first season playing a new formation, a new style, with new team members. Therefore, due to chemistry issues, I cannot see Palace getting into the top 5 spot again until next season, as chemistry needs to establish itself, therefore, a top 10 finish is a modest success for them this season.

Derby County - Position - 6th-10th
Key Player - Multiple
Reasoning - Derby coming up from the Championship has created a new found enthusiasm from Derby to do well, and that ambition and enthusiasm has been highlighted in signings like club veteran ShoBo, and VFL veteran Jakey. Along with the new breed, the experience with SAIVI, Stubbs and Di Canio will be relishing the BPL football, and because of that, I can see a top half finish.

Everton - Position - 1st-5th
Key Player - Multiple
Reasoning - A strong 11 man team forming together on VFL is always an interesting challenge for the VFL BPL. Proven VFL players like Hood and Simon can create that spark to help Everton defend the VFL BPL Title. One to watch!

Fulham - Position - 16th-20th
Key Player - Fwxzzy
Reasoning - Although CF Suarez has VFL experience with Wigan in Season 7, I feel as if the team will be carried by the strikeforce. On top of this, Suarez's hesitation to maybe deploy the auto-assignments in their preferred positions could come back to haunt him, as players like Sam, Legend and Soul are all top draw players that could fire Fulham into a successful season.

Hull City - Position - 11th-15th
Key Player - I Ben West I
Reasoning - There's a sense of hate in the air at Hull. Some key performers from last season are just not happy at Hull, and although that's the case and they've recruited/bought well, I still think that negativity will falter them this season. With Championship heavyweights Kaboom, Menace, Hare and Titan all making way into Hull, it's going to be the question of "Can they do it in the BPL?" that determines where they finish, with players like Atlas II Titan eager to prove that he can do it in the big time after a disappointing season 8.

Leicester City - Position - 6th-10th
Key Player - MIGHTY ENGLISH
Reasoning - I'm predicting a similar season for Leicester as last time out in Season 9. Although they don't play pretty football, they play winning football, and that's what matters. Heavyweights like English and Drama will lead the front line in a hope of breaking that top 5 mark, but for me, BPL squads are a lot more talent packed this time around, do Leicester have that key player in their defensive line? Not from what I see so far.

Liverpool - Position - 16th-20th
Key Player - Stroller l 10 l
Reasoning - With a lot of high profile names leaving Anfield like Adler, D4NNYG and Curtis, one seems to struggle to identify a core basis of the team. On top of that, can Liverpool field the relevant numbers? With the BPL becoming harder, playing with 4-5 is not an option due to the outstanding quality the league possesses. However, the one bright shining light is Stroller. His experiences at Brighton and Tottenham enable him to lead the defensive line and midfield out of that "Hmmm, Maybe" zone in regards to relegation.

Manchester United - Position - 11th-15th
Key Player - aFaTsLuG
Reasoning - With Burkie stepping down, I see this season as a season for Dave to cement his style of football, and use it as a building block for next season. One key signing that seemed to catch the eye of a lot of the community, was Slug. His winning mentality and experiences with Chelsea will allow him to share his knowledge with the team, and therefore guide them up the table.

Millwall FC - Position - 1st-5th
Key Player - Multiple
Reasoning - Millwall are without a doubt the strongest Championship team coming up into the BPL. Players like dragonfistz, Locodice and Bendtner are going to be a smash hit amongst the BPL teams, and will be looking to prove themselves to some of the doubting community members. A big test for big calibre players, and I thoroughly expect a top 5 finish at the Den.

Nottingham Forest - Position - 11th-15th
Key Player - Freerocker506
Reasoning - Forest winning the FA Cup and promotion last season really put a spring in their step, and for me, they will have a decent season 9. They will win some, they will lose some, but in the end they will finish comfortabley, on the edge of the top 10. Overall, the leadership qualities shown by Freerocker in Zlaaatan's absence will be a key part to Forest this season due to Zlaaatan's work schedule, and this will need to be on point when the team enter the BPL.

Swansea City - Position - 16th-20th
Key Player - Pique ll 3 ll
Reasoning - Now, they have an impressive team, but god damn from an admins point of view it's dysfunctional as hell! Multiple problems/releases with the uS people seem to haunt the team, and the fact that they keep signing them back after wasting money on releases really hinders them. Also, due to the fact that Oliver/Ben cant seem to stay at one club for a season could really hinder Swansea's goalkeeper and midfield situation. Could the uS people be done with their "games", could Oliver and Ben stay at one club this season? Swansea depends on it.

Tottenham Hotspur - Position - 6th-10th
Key Player - ProEamzy
Reasoning - Eamzy has a vision, a vision to revamp Spurs and emulate glory and success he experienced with Brighton back on Xbox 360. That road starts here, with the smallest roster on VFL, but a roster that is jam packed with talent! However, Eamzy is my main player at Spurs, because holding the team together is going to be key, and without the correct management style, Spurs would falter, but this season like for others, will be a building block for VFL's 10th season. Be wary of this team.

West Bromwich Albion - Position - 11th-15th
Key Player - Davis l 10 l
Reasoning - Although I dont see any league glory for the Baggies this season, Davis has done an excellent job building a team that will be set to challenge in the future. However, he has to look at the mid-season window and bring in more VFL experience. That, coupled with the ability to manage a few egos at the Hawthornes will result in a decent season for West Brom.

West Ham United - Position - 16th-20th
Key Player - JOEYY IV
Reasoning - With the influx of growing quality coming into the BPL, and West Ham's inability to bring in any stand out names during the last window, we have to think that West Ham are done dodging relegation and that their time is finally up this season. However, players like Madin and Joey are going to be the fighting force that keep West Ham up for as long as they can, with both players proving that they are the top dogs of their positions at West Ham. Luck is needed for the Hammers.

Wigan Athletic - Position - 6th-10th
Key Player - Multiple
Reasoning - The Latics won the Supercup on a technicality last season, and this season are eager to prove that they are the driving force in the league. It was difficult to drop them out of the top 5, but I do think they'll be up there and it'll be extremely tight. Players like Bonkee and Neuer have come in that can really strengthen Wigan's push for Supercup football due to their winning experiences at Chelsea. Another team to seriously watch!

BPL - Overlooking The Transfer Window!
There have been many changes throughout VFL since the transfer window opened on the 24/4/14 and in this article i will there will be a chance to find out a little more about some teams transfer activity.
Bournemouth AFC
Newman(Bournemouth Manager) made a number of new signings which included the beast Flair Danny(Hierro) who is an experienced centre-back. Newman also boosted his midfield by bringing in Bradzz and Fin. Newman told me that could not turn the offer down from Swansea which was in the region of £19m for Oliver and Ben. Nacho was also on the exit list for Bournemouth with a move to WBA which I understand was around the £8m mark.
Crystal Palace
Gringo allowed VD Hood one of his star players go this transfer window. Everton is Hood's next destination, he made the switch as he would to play with his mates for a staggering £14m. Gringo granted him his wish because of the service he gave to Palace last season. World Class keeper SaladFinger was also brought in by Gringo for a fee in the region of £10m! Surely Palace must be in with a chance on the BPL Title this season! Mignolet and Paddy are the players who have been sold this transfer window to Manchester United and Reading respectively.
Fulham
Fulham where the most active this window selling 5players and bringing in six! For me the best signing was the young under-rated striker who came in from Swansea named 'Fwxzzy' for fee around £10m. He in my opinion is one of the sharpest strikers in VFL and could carry Fulham to BPL glory this season. Zouma could be missed though! The strong centre-back has been off-loaded to Southampton in the lower division of the VFL. A price tag of around £5.5m was agreed between the two managers!!.
Derby County
Saivi(Derby Manager) only made one proper signing this time round. Joshiee was brought in for £4m + Aidan, Joshie plays as a GK but doesnt really have any VFL experience. Derby did acquire a free agent in Shobo which Saivi describes as "The Signing Of The Window"

VFL Season 9 Championship Predictions
- Predictions from Championship Admin l Makelele l 4
- Predictions from Championship Admin l Makelele l 4
Aston Villa - Position: 12th - 16th
Key Player: AV BigRedBen88
Reasoning - Villa did not have the greatest of seasons last season and without really brining in some big names, you would be shocked if they were to finish higher than they did last season. The manager Ben will have to have a great season and motivate his team to get a solid start to the season, and push on from there.

Blackburn Rovers - Position 7th - 11th
Key Player: o TsL Tactics o
Reasoning - Narrowly missing out on the playoffs last season, it could quite well happen again this season. o TsL Tactics o came in the mid-season window and really spurred Blackburn on towards the end of the season, his team will be looking to him to again chip in with goals and assists to push ass far up the league as they can.

Blackpool - Position - Automatic Promotion
Key Player: Multiple
Reasoning - One of the new teams in the league will surely be looking at finishing at the top end of the table. Bringing in some of his old teammates at Wigan in season 7, Cannavaro has also brought in some new blood. All of whom with talent to match the manager’s ambitions and I am sure they will all be chomping at the bit for the season to start.

Bolton Wanderers - Position - Play-offs
Key Player: Zidane l 5 l
Reasoning - A strong side filled with experience and class to match, Zidane back in the championship after a successful spell at Everton will be key for Bolton, He will be trying hard to take his assist record back. With CMD CON retiring and Kilby getting the boot (shock) can they get a solid GK between the sticks before kickoff?

Burnley FC - Position - 7th- 11th
Key Player: FR Shevchenko
Reasoning - A Brand new team, but familiar faces. Burnley taking some of the players of the BPL winning Everton. Shevchenko finished that season as Everton's top scorer and will be hoping to do the same thing for Burnley, a lethal shot that would make most keepers cry. The only downside to Burnley would be the distinct lack of players on the roster and it could be a struggle for them.

Cardiff City - Position - Automatic Promotion
Key Player: BT Ronaldo 7
Reasoning - After a disappointing relegation last season, Cardiff will want to bounce straight back. And they look like they mean business, getting rid of the dead weight and bringing in some quality players like BT Ronaldo, proven goal scorer in VFL and will be looking for nothing different this season by propelling Cardiff back into the premier league with hi keen eye for goal.

Leeds United - Position - Play-offs
Key Player: CeX Crisis
Reasoning - Well they may argue, but they play style is extremely scruffy and very similar to Leicester in the BPL. But if it gets them into the premier league they will not care at all. CeX Crisis taking over the manager’s post this season will be hoping to impress again and to get more than the 9 assists that the tricky winger mustered up last season. With the league getting trickier Leeds will have to be at their best to get a play-off spot.

Manchester City – Position – 12th -16th
Key Player: SENNA11
Reasoning - Man City had a great start to the season, but then halfway through the season they went into meltdown with key players going out of form leading to no wins in the final 13 games of the season, unless the key striker SENNA is in form from the start and keeps it City could be looking at a long 15 games

Newcastle United – Position - Play-offs
Key Player: x Skyppez
Reasoning - 2 Playoff appearances in consecutive seasons and Newcastle are still in the second their, maybe this will be their season to get into the BPL. One man that the whole team wants to be firing on all cylinders is Skyppez, his goals forced his team into the play-offs and was dearly missed when he served a 5 match ban for using a boosted pro. Good support and Newcastle could well be on their way into the big time.

Norwich City– Position - 12th-16th
Key Player: x Gotze I 10 I
Reasoning - With only 3 wins in 41 games on the Xbox one, Norwich are finding themselves to be the laughing stocks of the VFL. But now with the UTF x Assassin reign behind them maybe x Gotze I 10 I has built a more credible team but can they actually manage to get themselves off the bottom of the Championship.

QPR – Position - 12th -16th
Key Player: Gattuso I 8 I
Reasoning - The final new team in the league, they have some experience in VFL with the likes of Kluivert, TheGamerCant and Gattuso I 8 I. The key striker Gattuso gained and impressive tally for stoke and Spurs in season 7, he lost a bit of form in season 8 but I am sure his teammates and himself will hope he sparkles and fires the new boys to some good performances

Reading – Position - 7th -11th
Key Player: paddyo7
Reasoning - With the fight for play-offs the toughest it has been for some seasons, Reading will be searching for a fast start to the campaign and the man they will look to is paddyo7. Scored a bucket load for Crystal Palace last time out even though he was forced into GK for the last few games of the season. If players like JhnyHD can find paddy Reading could be looking at a high finish.

Southampton – Position - Play-offs
Key Player: MC SharK x
Reasoning - Last years play-off finalists will be raring to go in this season, a team that gained plaudits for their play style and temperament with solid foundations and a lethal attack. The spearhead of this is MC SharK, scoring 29 last season which is absolutely remarkable, he will be aiming to do that again this season and finally get into the BPL.

Stoke City – Position -7th -11th
Key Player: ROUGH1E
Reasoning - Relegated last time out, and looking to put that right by having a strong performance this campaign, Jakew and ROUGH1E have completely transformed the old Stoke team and brought in experienced players who they feel that can push them back up into the Premiership. ROUGH1E the co- manager is going to look to dictate play and start attacks for the Potters as well as providing defensive cover, a good season for him and I am sure Stoke will follow suit.

Sunderland – Position - 7th -11th
Key Player: Mr Curty Woo
Reasoning - One of the many teams under new management and one of ever growing list of teams that have ousted AP l Bale. IElite James has come to the fold and right from the get go has built a team with vast experience, plucking Mr Curty Woo and Mr Skinny T from the Derby that finished 2nd and SP x Borini who has title winning experience. A solid back line is the difference between a good team and a great team and if Curty and IElite James can keep clean sheets who knows where they will finish

Watford FC – Position -12th -16th
Key Player: PF I Bergkamp
Reasoning - Watford are my dark horse this season, they had a mid-season run last year that saw them with a shot at the playoffs before coming to an end in the final week. If they start strong they could well finish higher than the place I have predicted but it all comes down if they get the results. Dormzy the gaffer and his team will be wanting the strike force to come up with important goals that could turn some of the disappointing defeats and draws of last season into wins

Johnstone Paint Trophy Introduced to VFL
Yesterday Gringo (VFL Owner) revealed that in Season 9 VFL will be introducing another cup named ‘The Johnstone Paint Trophy” This news came as a surprise to many VFL members as there was no word about it at any earlier stage in the season. The clubs who are lower in the pecking order in the league table will be filled with joy when they find out they could be in for a chance for another piece of Silverware.
More important information that my sources have found out is that only four teams will be taking part for the first season or so until the number of teams grows to a larger number. These four teams will be the bottom two from both Championship and Barclays Premier League. Even though there is no prize(points or coins) for the winners it is still a chance for silverware.
With another great addition to the VFL I think this is a great opportunity for smaller clubs to get a trophy under their belt and a chance to make a bigger name for themselves in the VFL Community.

VFL News Weekly. Brought to you by LeGeND. 18/04/2014
VFL Big News: Special Report.
Well News fans.. I'm here to bring yet another story on what to look out for next season. With the Current New Managers coming in, and the league growing, there's much to look forward to for new and old players alike come Season 9.
Breaking News: First off let's start with (VFL Blackpool) (Manager - T90 I Cannavaro)
With the news out that the staff change is official and (Cannavaro) will be taking over as Manager next season. not (Ashcroft), where does that leave the newly picked manager, will he have what it takes to take his Team all the Way. With him set to take over after the (VFL Supercup) can he Mount a Promotion winning team, or is the pressure going to be too much for him.
I decided to have a word with the Man himself on what he thinks about the Sudden change of Events which Leaves him with a big Job Next Season.
(Cannavaro) it came as a little bit of a shock to be honest, everything was in place for me to take over at (VFL Wigan) as of the 21st. However this didn't work out and I got offered the chance to become manager of (VFL Blackpool) I'm extremely grateful for being offered this position
and I'm now really looking forward to the challenge and the new season beginning. I still have the super cup and FA cup final to look forward to playing with Wigan where hopefully I can end my time there with a trophy which would be nice in my first season in VFL.
We also have (VFL Bolton) (Manager - dF I Gundogan 8)
Now we all know (Gundogan) is looking to prove himself in the Championship with a new Team of his own, so I got my news reporter (eVo) part of VFL backstage team to have a sit down with the manager himself for the inside scoop, so I won't go into to much detail here, but what I will say is check out how the interview went on (VFL News).
And (VFL Burnley) (Manager - FR Lehman) + (VFL QPR) (Manager - T e IM p zz)
Now I can't say much on these Teams since I haven't got much info on them as of yet, but I will be sending my VFL backstage (eVo) and VFL big news (Fazza) report team to try get the scoop on inside news. Keep an eye out for future interviews.
Also in Other News.
We have the news that (VFL Stoke) (VFL Cardiff) and (VFL Sunderland) have been Relegated and will be going Down to the Championship.
With (VFL Millwall) (VFL Derby) and (VFL Nottingham Forest) making the switch to Premiership next season. This came about after Forest came out on top with a 2-1 victory over a spirited (VFL Southampton) side in the play-off final. it seemed it would be going into golden goal, but with 5 minutes remaining... (Forest) won a pen which decided the tie.
(Rough1e) my News Reporter got a excellent story on (Manager of Stoke) be sure to check it out on (VFL News). (Rough1e) will also be Bringing you any News, on Big Games, Fixtures to look out for in the Future Keep an Eye out for that.

SEASON 8 REVIEW
Earlier this week 'Fazza' one of the new VFL News correspondents met up with a number of VFL Players from different teams in both divisions. The 5 five people he held talks with were the well-known Fulham manager Bruce, the worldie left-back Hyperzz formerly of Spurs , and the premier league winning midfield tank Makelele of Everton and finally VFL Championship pair Locodice and Stubbs. Both of these two have been promoted and Locodice is the manager of Millwall who have just conquered the Championship with ease and won the title with automatic promotion to the BPL
Sooo... Lets get started.
Firstly I Spoke to Bruce and Stubbs I asked them "How do you think your team performed this season? Was you happy with it? and did you influence this?" , Bruce was first to answer and this is what he said "If i am honest i would be lying if I told you i wasn't disappointed with my teams performance this season. In my opinion I don't believe that our league position (16th) reflects the quality that we have in our team! with players such as Tappet,Neuer and Ninja we really shouldn't be finishing that low in the league.I would like to have thought that i made a difference to the team when i stepped in as manager. All I am focusing on now is making sure we can push for 'Super-Cup' positions next season". I then asked Stubbs who plays in every aspect of midfield for Derby he responded with - " My team had a brilliant season. Before the season started our manager (SAIVI) set us a goal which was to achieve promotion and we reached our goal which is excellent. And we are currently still in the quarters of the FA Cup which is a chance of silverware for us this season! I don't think i had a bad season but i wasn't one of the key players who influenced my teams position but i got the job done, I really hope i can improve next season and become a Key player in the VFL!!!.
The under-rated young left-back Hyperzz was next on my list and i spoke to him about his situation with Spurs and why he now finds himself as a free agent. The confident young LB has two seasons experience in the VFL and is currently looking for a club !! . I asked him "I understand you where unsettled at Spurs? Why was this?I also believe you were released at the end of the season is this true?" hes answer to this was - " yes i was unsettled at Spurs i was played out of position constantly and feel like i was being targeted by older members of the team. All speculation about me being released is all false I just chose not to sign a new deal with the club. But thank you for having signing me last season" So Hyperzz " Are you looking for a new club and what kind of football do you want?" , "Yes! I am currently looking a new club. I want first team football regularly and with variation so its not predictable all the time e.g Same tactics every game like pass+move". Thanks Hyperzz for your time it was worth while. Nice speaking to you hope you find your desired club soon!!
When Me and Makelele met i questioned him on his season and what he thought about it. "So Makelele on numerous occasions this season for Everton this season you put in mind blowing performances and you even earned yourself a place in the TOTS!! What Motivated you towards this? - " Haha, Cheers all i did really was keep it simple and get what i needed too do done! I think the main reason why i had a great season was because i had trust in the defenders behind me and i knew if i made a mistake they would have it covered! Also as long as me and the defenders done our jobs well we knew our strikers could provide the goals! So in every department we more than comfortable.
It is now two seasons in a row now that i have been voted for the TOTS and i am delighted with it but the main thing this season for me was to get a premier league title under my belt. "Are you going to be following Jackzeh to Burnley" - " Yes Fazza! If im honest with you i am , Jack is bringing a few of us with him who i will not name , but we all feel confident with Jackzeh being our manager! Good Luck To The new Everton Manager all the best!!" Thanks for your time Mak!
Locodice the beast Millwall manager spoke to me about how happy he is for his team and about there promotion to the BPL. "Alright Loco! How are you feeling after you victorious season in charge of Millwall? I bet you are well pleased with the performances shown by your lads!?" Loco responded to with this - " I am thrilled with my teams outstanding performance this season! I think the reason we has such a great season together is because we play together regularly and have chemistry. As a team we are very organized at the back with Legend,Dembele and Prentice and our striker! Woaah hes just on another level, Dragon this season broke the record for 'Most Goals scored In A VFL Season' scoring 32goals in all competitions, Well Done! And Finally I want to thank our whole team for an amazing season and for breaking the record ' Most Points In A Championship Season' with 63pts!!" "Are you looking to add to your squad for next season?" "Yes we will be bringing one or two more players in. Mostly all we are looking for a back-up GK who can play outfield and maybe even a CB."
After speaking to Bruce earlier that day i caught up with him again to ask him another quick question. "Bruce you have had defensive errors this season are you looking to add to your squad?" Bruce replied to this by saying - " yes as you said my biggest headache this season has been the defense. Towards the start of the season I felt we were winning games for fun but losing some due to a couple of defensive errors. These mistakes grew and grew and i had to change something. when the transfer window came i brought a few new faces in to try and sort by back four out. However it had a terrible effect mistakes increased by more and our attackers weren't able to carry us as they used to. So yes i will be looking to sharpen up my back four when the transfer window opens to try and cut out mistakes.By all means i am going to blow the bank buying at least three defenders. I said to Bruce "You seem a very wise manager do you mind if i ask you a quick question?" Bruce responded "Yes,Yes Of Course". So Bruce "You sold Ashcroft at just the right time he only played a few games at Wigan before announcing management! Did you know anything about this when you sold him?" Bruce told me - "There was lots of talk of this a few weeks back so Ashcroft signed a new two year deal to assure me , then when the BIG offer came in it was difficult to turn down. at first when we sold him everything went downhill now it seems to look like a smart piece of business.
When asked did he enjoy the league this season Stubbs immediately responded to me by saying - " I enjoyed this season a lot more than last season and i believe this was to do with my team. We all got along with eachother and had good fun whilst succeeding and gaining promotion to the BPL. i really liked being part of a promotion fight and the dedication to have the thrill of becoming a premier league player is what motivated me."
I asked Locodice the exact same question and he also responded by saying - " Yes i really enjoyed playing this season it was my first season and i definitely want to stay in the VFL for as long as possible and now all i want to do is prove my self in the premier league" Good Luck to you next season Loco!!
Overall I think this season has been a roller coaster ride with thrills and spills. With a few minor problems with the site over the course of the season we worked hard as a Community to stay together and keep things running smooth. Just want to say thanks to Culv3r because without his hard work throughout this season i dont think the site would be as good as it is now. also a big Well done to Everton and Millwall for clinching the titles in there divisions. Good Luck to everyone next season hopefully we can make next season even better than this one. And Finally we all need to say thank you to the Admins.Moderators and Owners for putting in hard work all season long. Thank you lads!!!

Iniesta reveals all!
I spoke with Arsenal's Manager Iniesta l8 about the end of Season 8 and his thoughts about Next Season
How do you feel your Season has went in the BPL ?
"It was a roller coaster ride at the beginning as I came to Arsenal as a player and was promoted to Co Manager and then to manager within a week, it was tough coming into a team and taking control of players I had no knowledge of and majority of the team wanted to leave which made it a lot harder. This season was about getting to know how things worked as a Manager and the highs and lows that comes with it, but I am happy with the changes I have made and feel a lot more confident for the up and coming season."
Arsenal had a rough start to Season, What did you do to turn it around?
"To be fair I played a little part In turning the second half of the season round but for me it was the team, yeah we had a shaky start but with the group of lads we have now I believe we could beat anyone. The only part I changed on the squad was when the transfer window opened I brought in a few lads that I thought would gel with the original players we had at the club, We then worked on it in training. Since then we have won 4/5 games which is great considering the first half we lost 5/9 and drew 4."
Will you be bringing in many new players for Next Season?
"When the transfer window opens VFL goes crazy everyone thinks they will do better at another club when really if you stay with your team and try work on the errors you have a chance of being more successful for the next season. Millwall are a prime example 11 man team that been together for a while and have brilliant chemistry. What I'm trying to say is as soon as the window opens its not really in your hands if a player wants to leave he's not going to play well for you so you might as well let him go. May need to rebuild whole team but you gotta do what you gotta do. I feel our squad is strong now so we probably wont see any new names."
Any player from your squad really impress you this season?
"No not one in particular, my players all did their part. On that note I would like to say a big thank you to the co manager of Arsenal dF I Guarin 13 / Vertonghen I5 who has been an asset to this club helping me and the lads through out the whole season much appreciated and hope he stays with us because he will be a big loss."
Think you will learn from this season and finish in a higher place for next season?
"I have defiantly learnt a lot from this season due to becoming manager and Hopefully will do a lot better next season and I'm sure every manager wants to win the league. "
Who were your toughest opponents this season ?
"Either Chelsea or Everton, Both were brilliant and well organised teams !"

A Sit Down with the Bolton Boss...
With new teams coming into VFL for Season 9, I wanted to have a chat with one of these new teams. Here's Bolton's new Manager dF l Gundogen 8
Why did you decide to manage Bolton?
I decided to manage Bolton because I believe that I can prove to Gringo and everyone in the VFL community that I am not someone who creates arguments in teams which is why I leave my current team. However I believe that along with this, my team will be successful and I will get a very good play style and friendly atmosphere between my players.
Are you looking to recruit any new players for next Season?
Well seen as I wont have any players for next season, new players will be bought in yes! If anyone would like to trial then drop me a message (dF l Gundogen 8) I will be looking for people who can be calm on the ball in defence and not panic and clear it all the time but pass it out and clear in the right situations, midfield i would like to encourage 1-2 touch football to feet limiting the amount of LB+Y and crosses also strikers I just want you to know when to shoot and be clinical when you do.
Do you think The Championship will be tougher this Season?
I do believe it will be tougher this year yes because the teams that got relegated have some quality players in them already that means if they stay there they will be outstanding in this league also not forgetting VFL Blackpool which I understand to be the old VFL Swansea team will be a very good team yet again if they all rejoin and reunite.
What do you like most about playing in VFL?
I like playing in VFL because if is very organised and everyone is friendly in it meaning the better players help to encourage the weaker ones to improve and help them out hopefully allowing them to participate within the high tempo football and quality played by each VFL team.
Are you looking to buy players or recruit from FREE AGENTS ?
I will be looking to do both although i only have 5M transfer budget.I will be looking to add to my squad if needed by spending this money where as I hope I can get a good enough team together to finish top 4 next season or higher.
What are your hopes going into the New Season, with a New team, as manager?
My hopes for next season is to build a team from free agents that like playing together and creates lots of chances from 1-2 passes on the floor and limit crosses in games unless needed if money has to be spent then it will be spent well and wisely, the season after I will look to bolster my squad again and gain promotion.

Relegation Sitdown!
As you may know already, there are three teams moving down from the BPL to the Championship. These are Stoke City, Sunderland and Cardiff City.
Today I sat down with the Manager of Stoke City, Jake, to see his view on becoming a Championship team.
(Me) So Jake, to start off, I would like to know what are your feelings about being relegated and what changes have occurred in Stoke that have been significant?
(Jake) Firstly, the way in which we were relegated was unfortunate in my opinion. I came into the Stoke manager job, with us in stone dead last and out of morale. And to finish 3rd bottom after a great run of results was really harsh. I think had our new look squad started the season with Stoke, I strongly believe we could've challenged for top 5. I am not in anyway saying that the 'old' Stoke were bad, just that we now have a fantastic squad to build on in the next season. The main changes is that I took over from McKelvie, and new players have replaced most of the original squad.
(Me) What are your thoughts on not only your performance but your teams performance this season?
(Jake) I personally did not witness the first 11 games of Stoke's season. I know that they started well, but had a shocking mid season. However, with new players has came new confidence, and we finished strongly, especially beating Arsenal!
(Me) With being relegated what are your plans and hopes for next season?
(Jake) My plans are to develop the new squad players that have recently arrived, and to get everyone playing the same way, which is hopefully a passing style, not so much Tiki Taka, but not just hoofing it upfield.
I definitely think Stoke will be returning to BPL action in S10, hopefully it's via auto promotion!
(Me) Have you got any plans for the transfer window? If so; what are they?
(Jake) I will be selling inactive players that have failed to turn up without reasons. Hopefully improving areas such as the Defence, and any other transfer plans will be kept secret!
(Me) What do you like about VFL and what do you not like about the VFL?
(Jake) I love the VFL community as it is so well set up, allowing everyone to have a consistent means of playing clubs. It also adds a sense of competition which EA have failed to deliver, making clubs much more fun! One thing I don't like is the complaining, where players just refuse to play in a certain position, or start silly arguments, which normally leads to their dismissal, which can actually cost a team their budget. This seems unfair, as it harms the team morale wise, and financially to release an annoying player.
It is obvious that Jake is keeping his cards close to his chest as he is not telling anyone about his transfer plans. It is clear however that he will not be making too many new signings as he is very happy with his current squad.
But I have found out however that he might be on the look out for a replacement goalkeeper. Now before you start panicking Josh; I am aware that he is only on the look out for a new GK!
It is also clear that Jake is looking to the stars next season; hoping he can get a great finish in the Championship. Good luck to you and all the best for next season.

VFL News Weekly. Brought to you By LeGeND. 14/04/2014.
So for all of you today We have..
VFL Big News.
With the Big Headline Story Coming from the News, that there will be 4 New Championship Teams next Season.
(VFL Burnley) (VFL Bolton) (VFL QPR) (VFL Blackpool)
So in my Behind Closed doors Interview. i got to sit down with one of the new Managers (Ashcroft) VFL striker that as really Impressed me with his Goals throughout the Season, for (Fulham) and (Wigan). and his thoughts on next Season as he becomes the New Manager of (VFL Blackpool).
(Me) So with the big news on next season you will be Managing your own Team, VFL Blackpool. Congratulations, where did the Ambition come from to want to be the Leader of your Own team for the Upcoming Season.
(Ashcroft) Well it wasn't really an ambition as such? I just felt that the league missed a Swansea team in it,
obviously we went unbeaten in the league and although some of our players such as ace and dal won't be playing this season
I am aiming along with other players to build a strong team :)
(Me) Well in Due time i Wish you good Luck an hope you can achieve what you aim to Build. so how would you say your time in season 8 with (Wigan & Fulham) has been?
(Ashcroft) Well, it was very different from what I had at Swansea, at Swansea we had a winning team that won and never lost....
where as at Fulham I had to get use to losing games, the start of the season was a bit of a disaster with management changing constantly Etc,
Bruce came in and I helped the team as much as I could, giving help with tactics and players.... Then Wigan came in with the 19m offer,
which was obviously too much to turn down, plus I knew them lads (Wigan) from other clubs so they know how I play :)
(Me) Well a move i Believe both party's would of been happy with. so now that you make the move to the Championship who do you see as title Main Contenders? And what are your Goals for the upcoming Season.
(Ashcroft) Yeah I suppose they was both happy :D haha, I think it depends on what teams come into the championship...I see us getting promotion yes :P My goals are just for the team to get into the premiership.
(Me) Well best of luck to you and your Team for the Future (Ashcroft).
In other Big News.. we have 2 New Champions!
In the Premiership we have, (VFL Everton) after a Fantastic Season they have come out on top, Although it came down to the Final Day.
the Blue half of Merseyside was always Confident, and that showed as they held on all the way to the end to claim the Grand Prize and lift the Trophy.
Here's what the Manager himself had to Say (EHM Jackzeh)
"Relieved, it shouldn't of had to have come down to the final game. I couldn't stress any more to my team on how we hadn't won the league with 4 games to go but half of them was already celebrating. As for next season, personally due to me stepping down and heading elsewhere to manage a Championship team I just hope it's less stressful but yet, successful."
Well best of luck in your New Team come Season 9, wish you all the Best.
In the Championship we have, (VFL Millwall) From Start to Finish these Guys was outstanding all Season. with a Stand out Strike Partnership, in (Dragz) and (loco) and a World Class Midfield, with (Terry) and co it'd be Interested to see what the Premiership holds next Season for them.
Here's what the co-Manager himself had to Say (Locodice)
"Happy we did what we expected to do, win the league. On VFL many players look at the championship like its not a challenge
and make remarks about 'doing it in the premiership' which only fires us up to prove our worth next season. Finishing second next season is considered failure."
Well it's been a Pleasure to play under your Management and wish you the best for Next season. a Leader on and off the Pitch.
Congratulations to both Teams.

VFL News Weekly.
So before we start, Would like to say a big congratulations to (Rough1e) (Fazza) and (eVo Courtney) on becoming the VFL News Team.
Now lets move on to the top story's of the week:
First: lets start with the Premiership Title Race.
Now for me this has taken a interesting turn over the weekend leading into the final day. One win for Everton and the title is their's but with a tough home game vs Leicester City, will the blue half of Merseyside be able to come out on top, with WBA behind them knowing 2 Wins and a Everton slip up could see them lift the trophy. Could the pressure be to much for Everton, or are these guys calm enough to hold on to what would be an amazing achievement. Only tonight will tell as no matter the outcome, it's a great achievement, and a special well done to all teams and players involved.
Second: We have (VFL Millwall) with the Championship title Looking like their's to lose. Now these guys have been top of league from start to finish during Season 8, also tipped early to have a great season by VFL members, and since the first day 2-1 over VFL Derby, have not been moved from top spot. losing only 1 game all season to (Reading). but with VFL Derby Hot on their tails all Season long. it'll make a interesting final 2 days of VFL Championship, What are your views?
Third: Play-offs. Now we all love a good Play-off come the end of Season, there's Hopes, Heartbreaks, Shocks, what will Season 8 Bring us.
I sat down and had a Word with (Messiah) and (Gringo) on their Thought's and here is what they had to say.
(Me) With (Southampton) Confirmed in the third Play-off place and 6 Teams Currently battling it out for the Remaining 3 Play-Off Positions
now with everything to play for where do you see this season Heading. who for you as enough to take Those spots. (Nottingham Forest) (Leeds) (Newcastle) (Watford) (Blackburn) (Reading)?
(Messiah) If I had to say, from experience of seeing the players on the rosters, I would have to say, (Nottingham) (Newcastle) and (Leeds) to go through into the play offs. I just don't know enough about the others to make a definitive opinion on them.
(Me) With the Supercup places now pretty much Locked down and the big 6 Pointer vs Wigan in your Final Game of the Season,
can you see yourself coming out on top, to secure that final Supercup place. or do you think (Hull) or (Charlton) will have what it Takes
to Break into that Position?
(Gringo) I think it'll be a really hard game to be honest man, (Wigan) are an awesome team with a lot of firepower in players like Welsh,
and the diversity of players like Ashcroft will be hard to contain. We're focused though, we grab anything tomorrow and it'll be a success.
Special Report: Got a interview with Dragonfistz. here's what the Man himself had to say about his Season so far and what's to Come.
(Me) So what are your Thoughts on the Run of Form you've Shown during all Season?
(Dragz) I've been playing clubs a long time, I'm just playing my normal game so far as far as I'm concerned, but to be honest as a striker you can't do much without your team around you doing the job just as well, if not better. The players around me have been outstanding, so it comes easy.
(Me) so Who do you look up to the Most in your Team. who is that Leader in the Dressing room that Keeps the Team Together.
(Dragz) I don't necessarily look up to anyone, but I've played with a lot of the players in this team across the last few fifa games so everything is very casual. Terry and Loco run the show in terms of management of everyone. I try helping out, as we all do, but frankly they keep us afloat. To be fair though, everyone knows their job and what we expect; from running the night to playing times and when we're starting/finishing, everyone knows everything. So it becomes a lot easier. It's not just running a team on VFL, we talk in the week and chat about loads of random crap and have banter constantly, so it's like playing FIFA with your mates when match day comes, and that helps a lot more than you'd think.
(Me) so with you on the Brink of setting a new VFL Goals/Assist Tally for the Championship an already close to Winning the Title what are your thoughts.
(Dragz) Well I just broke the Goal record tonight and that feels amazing considering there's still 4 league games and the cup left too,
so more time to top them up, but there's another few players creeping up behind me so I can't be sure if I'll be keeping that record just yet.
Also I levelled the assist record too, but again it's the team which makes it all happen. They put me through and put it on a plate for me almost every game and position themselves so well that it just all falls together for me, so I can only thank them. And as for being close to winning the title that's down to us to keeping our heads. We have Southampton tomorrow who seem to be doing well, but I'm confident we'll see the league out well and maybe even top the points record if we keep up our recent form.
(Me) so What are your Achievement hopes for the upcoming Season 9 after such a good Season 8.
(Dragz) Nothing less than winning the title. It's not going to be easy with a lot of good players and teams coming in,
but after a dominant performance against the current league leaders Everton in the cup, I'm confident we can go all the way to the title next season. My personal achievements can come as they may, but the match results are what matters in the end.
Brought to you by LeGeND. 13/04/2014.

FA Cup and Capital One Cup RO16 MOTM Cards
Natural Iniesta - LB - Arsenal - The LB had an awesome Round of 16 tie last night in the Capital One Cup, assisting twice against Championship outfit Reading FC. The Gunners have not had great joy in their domestic league this season, only recently coming to light with 4 league wins last weekend, however, shades of the Season 5 Stoke team come to mind, as the Gunners will look to use their positive cup momentum to make a break for the top 10 league wise. Again though, awesome performance and well done Iniesta!
mikeom1 - CAM - Wigan Athletic - Wigan carried on their fine form in the FA Cup last night, easing past fellow BPL rivals Tottenham Hotspur. Mike was a standout player, grabbing 2 goals and 1 assist in what was a hard game for a low stacked Wigan Athletic. But alas, they stormed on, and thanks to great performances from players like Mike, Wigan now find themselves in the clubs first every FA Cup Quarter Final. Well done Mike!
ShoBo I 10 I - ST - Nottingham Forest - The Scot made an eccentric debut for Forest last night, absolutely running riot on Liverpool with 3 goals, 1 assist and a MOTM in the 6-1 thriller! On top of this, ShoBo scored one of the great FA Cup goals last night, chipping/crossing the ball over the GK's head, an absolute stunner from someone so new! With his reputation rife amongst different leagues, it seems that he's set to make a name for himself here to. Glad to have you ShoBo!

VFL Championship TOTW 3
3-4-1-2
GK - Jordan Causon - Blackburn Rovers - The Blackburn gaffter filled the vacant spot between the sticks this week as he led his team to their best weekend of the season, gathering 9/15 points, closing in on the play-off places. Jordan's crucial 2 clean sheets and 10 saves landed him in his first TOTW, because without strong performances in the GK position, Blackburn would not be where they are now. Well done Jordan!
CB - THE CHOPP3R - Derby County - Chopper finds himself in the Championship TOTW this week after a fantastic performance for the Rams this week! Chopper's clean sheet and MOTM helped Derby continue their quest for BPL football next season, as he defended extremely well in most of his games this week. Could we be seeing a future BPL star in the making? Congrats bud!
CB - Vx Dembele - Millwall - Millwall responded well to their shock defeat to Reading with 4 straight wins this weekend. Dembele did a fantastic job in the defensive line this weekend, keeping 2 clean sheets to help his team move 3 points clear of Derby with a game in hand. His marking ability was second to none, and his tackling was outstanding, especially against Derby, so therefore, he finds himself in TOTW. Well done man!
CB - x FaZeD II - Millwall - Dembele's defensive partner Fazed finds himself in the TOTW this week too. Much like Dembele, Fazed kept 2 impressive clean sheets this week and maintained a high performance standard against tough opposition, thus earning him a hard earned spot in the 3rd and final Championship TOTW. Well done and best of luck this weekend!
CM - oO Geroge 14 Oo - Newcastle - The Magpies had a fantastic weekend this past week, claiming 9/15 points and moving closer to a secure Play-Off spot. Although his position may be wrong (Sorry), it was impossible to leave George out this week due to the fact that his creativity and unique play-style created 3 of Newcastle's goals, thus enabling to move further up the table. Keep it up George!
CAM - xiBlayny 4 - Reading - The ex Crystal Palace defender made the move to the Championship to play a bigger part in a teams attack, and that is exactly what he's done. Again, although the position may be wrong, Blayny was another great performer that just couldn't be left out. Scoring 1 and assisting 3, he's made a great start to Championship life with his dribbling and eye for a pass being key traits to his game. Excellent work and keep it up!
CAM - Di Canio l 10 l - Derby - Di Canio was another impressive Rams player this week, scoring 2 and assisting 3, thus cementing Derby's automatic promotion hopes for another week! He had an excellent game against 3rd placed Southampton, using his vision and prowess for goal to his advantage. Overall, a top performance for a top player, fantastic work bud!
CAM - Emerald Hitman - Watford - The on-loan American (Sorry about the flag) made an impressive debut for Watford this week, scoring 1 and assisting 3 for the Championship outfit. It seems as if his prescense has inspired Watford, as the former struggling Watford, has been transformed into a force that now only lays 1 point off of a play off spot. Will key players like Hitman be able to put in one more solid weekend? Lets hope so!
CF - JaaaamesF - Watford - Another Watford performer this week was James. The prolific CF managed to net 4 goals and create 3 against extremely tough opposition this past week, opposition that we expected to beat Watford. However, pure grit and determination allowed James to have his best week, and finally show everyone what he can do. An impressive week to say the least!
ST - Da Da D Mann - Leeds - The Leeds manager is another player that finally blossomed this week, claiming 4 goals and 3 assists. Claiming 7 points this week, Leeds managed to stay in the Play-Off spots, and that has to be down to key performers like D Mann. The manager used his vision and forward experience to bang in goals and help Leeds head into the final weekend with a point advantage over his lower end table rivals. Good job!
ST - I Rayzee I - Southampton - Rayzee has been an awesome striker next to Shark this season, and this weekend was just the same! Scoring 5 and assisting 1, Southampton moved one step closer to securing a play-off spot this week, and Rayzee was one of the main reasons for that. His deadliness in front of goal was second to none as he scored with his left and his right against some impressive teams. Keep it up Rayzee!
GK - Jordan Causon - Blackburn Rovers - The Blackburn gaffter filled the vacant spot between the sticks this week as he led his team to their best weekend of the season, gathering 9/15 points, closing in on the play-off places. Season 8 Coming to an End with a Bang!
With Season 8 heading into its last weekend, we reflect on how crucial the final fixtures could be for the title contenders this season. Everton, West Brom, Chelsea, Wigan and Liverpool could still all walk away with the VFL title, but will they have the consistency required?
Everton - Middlesbrough (A), Hull (H), Chelsea (A), Leicester (H)
Everton have some tough fixtures in their remaining weekend, including title contenders Chelsea, high flying Middlesbrough, and 6th placed Hull City, along with relegation survivors, Leicester City
The toughest of these is no doubt Chelsea due to the array of talent on their roster. However, key players like Makelele and Jackzeh are going to be key for this game due to their respective creativity and defensive ability. I think the game will be a 1-1 draw, as the Blues GK and defensive line have looked solid all season.
On top of this, Middlesbrough's recent run of fine form could also hinder Everton's charge, with Newman finding his form and netting an array of goals in the most recent weekend. His deadly marksmanship could make him a disliked character amongst returning GK, CMD CON. But will he be able to keep him out? Overall, for me, I can see Everton collecting 7/12 remaining points.
W.B.A - Swansea (H), Spurs (H), Middlesbrough (A), Hull (H), Wigan (A)
The Baggies have been on an awesome run of form since their Season 7 Capital One Cup win, suffering only 3 league defeats since then. However, the last week of Season 8 will be a test, when the take on the likes of Middlesbrough, Hull and fellow title contenders, Wigan Athletic.
For me, their hardest game will be their last, against Wigan Athletic. A team that have been so dominant in terms of minimizing league losses will be the perfect test to see if W.B.A are title contender material. Players like Welsh Pride, Ashcroft and Kyle are all big players that Scabby and the Baggies will have to watch and be tactically sound against if they wish to get anything from the game.
All in all, looking at their fixtures, I predict for West Brom to claim 10/15 points in their final weekend.
Chelsea - Liverpool (H), Fulham (A), Everton (H), Charlton (A)
For me, Stephanos's Chelsea side have the toughest run-in out of all the title contender. Clashes against Liverpool, Everton and Charlton are sure to be the toughest games of their season, and they're going to need to rely on Neuer and their defensive line to have their best games if they are to have a hope of the league title.
Next to Everton, Charlton will be a very tough game for them in my opinion. The return of BT Ronaldo is sure to be a threat to Chelsea's challenge as the prolific goal scorer has made mince meat of the top ranked teams in the last 2 seasons, will he add Chelsea to his list, or will the experienced back line perform like champions?
Altogether, I can see Chelsea taking a total tally of 8/12 points in the final weekend.
Wigan Athletic - Leicester (H), Brighton (A), West Ham (H), Crystal Palace (A), West Brom (H)
Wigan for me have the easiest weekend left out of all the top teams this season. The only real threat for the Latics in the final weekend for me, is West Bromwich Albion.
The Baggies vs. The Latics could be a crucial decider for all we know, but the likes of SaladFinger, Pique and WORKSOP could have a say on the outcome. The GK and Defensive duo have been awesome all season and have probably been the most consistent trio in all of VFL thus far this season. Wigan are going to need to retain a lot of possession and hit the gaps if they want to claim 3 points against their title rivals, and with players like Welsh and Ashcroft, they may just do it!
Overall, from the 5 games they have left, I can see Wigan claiming 13/15 points.
Liverpool - Chelsea (A), Leicester (H), Brighton (H), West Ham (A), Charlton (H)
The Merseyside outfit looked like real challengers earlier this season, but recent results have put them 5th, with an outside chance of securing the title in VFL this season.
With an average batch of games left, it's hard to say which game will be the hardest, but if I had to say, it's Chelsea. The Blues have a threatening attacking option with Stephanos and RapidJr returning to the line-up, thus bringing an impending goal threat for Liverpool. Not only is this a tough test for Liverpool, but its a chance to let American GK Adler shine and carry his team onto the glory of the Supercup, as for me, when he's played, he's been the best player on that team, and he needs to be once more this weekend.
Overall, I can see Liverpool picking up 9/15 points this weekend.
So with my predictions, these clubs will finish like this:
Everton - 45 Points
W.B.A - 42 Points
Wigan Athletic - 42 Points
Chelsea - 38 Points
Liverpool - 35 Points
What are you thoughts? Be sure to let us know on the forums!

So with my predictions, these clubs will finish like this:
Everton - 45 Points
W.B.A - 42 Points
Wigan Athletic - 42 Points
Chelsea - 38 Points
Liverpool - 35 Points
